2008 PASS Season Opener at Beechridge

After a very long winter we finally got to to race this past weekend at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. It had taken all winter to completely tear our cars down and get them ready for the upcoming season, but we are ready.

The car was fairly good both days of practice and the weather was perfect. What more could we ask for except maybe a good draw when we went through tech inspection, and we didn't do bad we started 7th in the first heat and finished 5th so we were all qualified. That put us 13th on the staring grid.

We didn't know if we had a winning car or not but around lap 100 the car started to come together as planned and we figured we had at least a top 5 finish maybe even better. This is when we learned a very valuable lesson from a couple of our teammates. There is no respect or friends on the track. We ended up finishing 10th for the day because of this misfortune.

Thank you all for your support.
