Race Recap from Beech Ridge

To start off our day on Friday we were a little bit unprepared, due to the weather and not knowing if we were racing. We got to the track and started practicing and the car was not very good. We adjusted on it all day and it began to get better. Richie started 3rd in the last heat. He finished 4th and started the feature in 10th. Right off the bat there were a couple of cautions that Richie was able to avoid. Then there was a long green flag run. Riche was slowing and steadily working his way to the front. With about 30 laps to go there was another caution. Richie was now running in 5th. After a couple more cautions Richie continued to work his way up to the front and was able to bring home a 3rd place finish! Good job team!!

Race Recap from Speedway 660

Holy Molly what a long day. Since the gates didn’t open until 1pm we decided to drive up Saturday morning. What a trip, to start off we got a flat tire, then at a store one of our crew lost their wallet and had to go back and get it. Finally when we got to the track and started to practice the car was not very good. They changed everything and the car did improve. Richie started 6th in the first heat. He started to set his car in the outside grove and go but the cars in front of him stayed side by side. He finished his heat in 7th and started in the back of the feature.

Race Recap from White Mountain

White Mountain is one of the tracks on the tour that we look forward to going to. Things were off to a pretty quiet start. The first practice the car was bottoming out. They got that fixed and the car was running pretty good. Richie started on the pole in the first heat, and finished second, which gave him the 4th starting spot in the feature. The feature started and we were running in the top 5 for the first 100 laps. Then the cautions started. Richie got stuck in one of the cautions and he dropped back to tenth. He was working his way back to the front. The cautions continued to come. Slowly but surely Richie was able to hang in there and finish third. Congrats to our team, persistency pays off.
